Lately, I have been considering how much I share about my own personal practice. How much I share both in person to other people like family and friends in addition to what I share online. I do not discuss it very often in person unless it is specifically with people who are open to discussing the topic or a magickal practitioner. Moreover, I will not share specific details related to my practice as far as spells I perform or when I perform them. At most, I may tell someone that I have done magick for something like money or protection but that is all I will say. I may share what I have done in the past that works If they are seeking to learn or craft a spell for themselves. This will depend on the situation and who I am interacting with as well. However, I will not cast a spell for money then post the spell on social media nor am I going to talk about it in detail with friends. I have two main reasons for this.
The first is that I am a private individual by nature so I will only share certain things with certain people even then, I do not go into details. The second, is that I do not feel the need to divulge information about what spells I cast to anyone because it has nothing to do with them. Furthermore, I feel that keeping silent as part of the Witches pyramid has its place and I personally take it seriously. Additionally, when I do talk about my spells. At most, I will mention that I have done a spell for money after it has manifested. I take this approach with any spell I cast, and I won’t go into details unless they are also a practitioner or If they want to learn about magick. I keep it simple sharing without talking specifics. I do not personally believe discussing it with others has a direct influence over the spell in question, however I do not see the point in casting something then talking about it with others especially If the spell has yet to manifest. This is just my own opinion. If you choose to do so then that is up to you.
I will share tips and give advice to newer practitioners, help people who ask with crafting or casting spells for themselves, and discuss magick in general. However, I will not discuss every spell I cast, how I cast the spell, or the actual spell. The only instances where I will do this is after the spell has already been cast and is complete. Who I share the information about the spell will depend on the person I am talking to and how well I know them. I will not just share spells with anyone. I will not give what ingredients I used for the money spell I used as an example. Another aspect to what I share to consider is that my practice is ever changing. I may use those same words, materials, method of raising energy, or timing once, or twice. More than likely I will change it. Most importantly, I like to experiment within my crafting and casting process for spells. I like to try new ways of doing everything this includes writing, timing, material I use, raising energy, and solar/lunar phase.
