Astrology and my Practice

HI Readers,

Recently, I have been thinking a lot about astrology. I have gotten my birth chart done, I know my sun sign, and I also know about when mercury retrograde is going to occur. Though, I have always had interested in the subject it does not play a large role in my practice. I do not use it during divination, readings, or time my spells around it. At least as far as I am aware. I will admit that I do not know a lot about astrology other than the above-mentioned items. When I got my chart done, I was both intrigued and frustrated by what it said. Firstly, because I wanted to understand all of the aspects of my report like the degrees with each sign when discussing my birth time was listed If I remember correctly,  what a moon sign is, and what the timing of my birth had anything to do with astrology. Further, I was frustrated by the traits listed I felt that not all of them made sense for my personality nor for my choice in career. I know I could have looked most of the information up, but I feel like astrology has so many layers within it like any other subject of this nature.

Moreover, I have books on the subject, but I feel that it would be important for me to further explore the subject when I have ore time. The other issue with me exploring astrology is that in certain respects I question it. I question how much of a real influence the stars, and planets truly have over our lives. I question how much mercury impacts our communication during retrograde. Is it truly doing anything or is it simply our perception like anything else?

Eventually, I will further explore astrology in depth and obtain my answer to these questions. For now, I will simply use what I have learned so far until I feel myself drawn to it again.

Perhaps, at some point astrology will have a place within my practice.

Many Blessings!
