What I have learned from blogging and what I am still learning.

Hi Readers,

Welcome to February!!

I hope you are having a good celebration of Imbolc If you are, in addition to those of you who will be watching the game tomorrow I hope you have a good time.

I thought I would discuss some things I have learned regarding blogging as I am coming up to my first year as a blogger. I have learned a lot. I am still learning.

I have learned that consistency is key which I am working to solve going forward as far as keeping posts regularly. Additionally, I have learned how to build a website all be it not entirely from scratch along with reviewing the analytics behind the blog. I have learned that blogging everyday can be challenging but not impossible. However, I am uncertain whether I think I can continue to do so. I have learned that promoting is quite important and I have learned that social media can be a great tool. Finally, I have learned that I truly enjoy writing this blog. I enjoy writing posts that I can share my experiences in addition to what I have learned in order to help others. I enjoy the feedback I get via comments. I enjoy learning how to maintain and build a website although not as much as I thought I would. Either way, I am still learning how to manage everything. I am still learning about how to upload photos so that they look presentable, using social media apart from the ones I already use, and how to share content. I am still learning about myself, my personal path, and practice. We are all still learning. I feel like people equate learning with school, when learning happens all over. We learn through experiences both in school, in life, and through others. We learn best through living and experience.

I felt it was important to share this piece, because I am sure I am not the only one who goes through some form of learning process. Also, I felt it was important because I could help someone else who might be wondering If it is just them. Most significantly, I felt that by sharing what I have learned and a little of what I am learning people can see where I m starting from, because I feel that talking about our mistakes is important. When we talk about our mistakes it helps us learn, even If I don’t always remember that. I feel like people judge for so many reasons and do not admit when they themselves make a mistake. No one including me is perfect.

Many Blessings!!
