HI Readers,
As you can see from the above photo, I have placed an image of my Ostara altar. For those celebrating I hope you a beautiful celebration!! I have already celebrated today, and I am just wanting to share some of my altar and celebration in addition to my thoughts for the season.
Firstly, I decided to embrace new beginnings for me as I have a lot of new projects, opportunities, and positive changes coming up along with what is already in progress. So, I chose a green cloth, lots of carnelian, orange candles, for removal of obstacles in addition to action. I decided to use quartz to help with the process along with other stones like Citrine for success in all my endeavors. Further, I decided to use two candles one that I used within ritual symbolically as I did have a lighter that I could light successfully around. The candle closest to the middle surrounded by carnelian pieces on either side represent what I am bringing forth along with success. Also, the other candle surround by a quartz on the right represents the light with stones representing balance. Finally, I have some usual parts such as my tools, and the citrine crystals that is quite small represents the Sun and success.
This is just a brief overview of what I placed on my altar and why. For me, Ostara always reminds me to keep balance in all aspects of life, along with embracing new beginnings. Last year, was like this year so uncertain, yet I feel like we are emerging with a lot more hope and positivity. I know this is not the case for all of us, but it represents hope, renewal, and new beginnings for what is to come.
I celebrated with an early ritual celebrating and embracing balance. I celebrated early as I wanted to take advantage of the sounds that remind that Spring is here, and the day matches the season even though at first it did not seem that way for me. I did not see a large amount of Sun, but I always know when Spring has arrived when I hear more birds chirping, when I smell fresh flowers, and the days become warmer. Though, where I live it always warm year around.
I have not just celebrated balance in my ritual I celebrated new opportunities as I stated above along with working a spell to help me embrace the positive aspects of things without neglecting or accepting what has occurred.
I hope that you have a beautiful Ostara If you celebrate and If you are just embracing the season, I hope this season brings all you hope for. I hope you receive new opportunities, happiness, and peace.
