Lately, I have been asked a few questions by some friends who have seen My First video where I showed some of my crystals and some candles. I thought I would talk about how I got into crystals and why I use them.
I got into crystals early on when I was researching and reading about Paganism. I found them fascinating to learn about in terms of what they could be used for energetically and how they form physically. I mentioned in This post that they are the most used item in my practice because they have so many uses from meditation, protection, and healing. Furthermore, I remember holding my first crystal which was a raw piece that I still own. I could feel that energy along with the various textures of that piece. I began building my collection, but I did buy a lot at once something I don’t really recommend. However, I spent years building that collection.
I work with crystals because they are a direct link to Earth in my opinion. I can connect with that crystal and through learning about the properties of that crystal on a physical level I can learn how they are formed along with learning about our Earth as a whole. I work with crystals for the energetic properties to help me heal emotionally along with doing the everyday things like working on my emotions, talking to someone, and all of the medical things I need to do when working on them for physical healing. Furthermore, I work with crystals to connect with the energy and spirit of that crystal. Each crystal I own has a unique spirit and energy within it. I have learned a lot about crystals on both the energetic and physical level in order to help me stay grounded and present. Also, they have been a great benefit during meditation which I recommend anyone new to crystals to try after purchasing one. Lastly, crystals just like herbs bring a unique connection to nature and help us connect to it in different ways. They are also used in different ways within our everyday lives like clear quartz being used in our watches because it is a conductor of energy, and it is in our computers as well. Please If you are interested in crystals do your research on them before purchasing and I have more related articles on the subject. Make sure that If you purchase it from a good quality place as you don’t know what mining conditions, they crystals came from. I along with some of the other resources available to you will help you learn more about them.
