Introduction.

Hi readers,

I thought I would introduce myself and what this blog will be about. I am a blind college student majoring in communications. Also, I am a solitary Witch. My entry into Paganism more specifically Wicca came in late 2011 with the book Wicca a Guide for The Solitary Practitioner. Further, I spent my first year reading any other books and websites I could find on the subject and began practicing various basic practices like visualization, meditation, grounding, and centering. During that time, I spent as much time outside whenever possible something I still do to this day. Over the years as I read and learned more, I developed a daily practice which I still fall back on, but it changes as my life does. When I first started out magic was not something, I felt I needed to explore or use only If I had a great need. However, that has certainly changed, and I see magic in everything, and it is how I view the world. I believe that Wicca is only one many forms of Witchcraft and Witchcraft is something anyone can follow regardless of religion because I personally view Witchcraft in all its forms is transcendent of religion. However, this is not for everyone and for many it can  depending on the tradition or type of Witchcraft also depending on the person it can fall under a religious context. Of course, I cannot speak for all paths or for anyone but myself. Personally, from my own experiences I do believe it to be both a religion and a practice. Through this blog I hope to share my experiences and practices from a blindness perspective to help others regardless of disability. I hope to show others that regardless of what spiritual or religious path they walk they can find something useful in what I share. I will be discussing how I practice, finding places in nature while living in a city, everyday magic, in addition to other topics. Whether you come for the discussions on my personal journey or blindness I believe there is something for everyone.

Welcome and many blessings!!
